TATNEFT Received the International Forum Award
9 декабряThe leaders in the nominations were announced at the V-th Annual International Forum Exchange Commodity Market held in an online format as part of the panel discussion On the way to national indicators of the oil market with participation of Kirill Molodtsov, Assistant to the Presidential Administration Head of the Russian Federation, Anton Rubtsov, Director of the Oil and Gas Processing Department of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and other official persons. They discussed during the event the first results of online auctions of Russian oil companies on the SPIMEX electronic platform, as well as issues related to the evolution of marker oil grades in the international market, issues of forming national indicators, etc.
TATNEFT began the export sales of crude oil and petroleum products on the electronic platform of SPIMEX in the new Torg-i segment in December 2019. The electronic platform Torg-i allows the Company to hold online tender procedures for the sale of the entire products range. TATNEFT has sold about 2 million tonnes of export cargo on the electronic platform of SPIMEX since December last year.
The project of bringing trading in crude oil and petroleum products to the electronic platform of SPIMEX was initiated by the Company under the directive of V.V. Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on the improvement of exchange mechanisms and the formation of independent national price indicators for the main types of fuel and energy goods as exemplified by the experience of the SPIMEX site.
Carrying out trading procedures on electronic trading platforms allows optimizing labor costs, ensuring maximum transparency and objectivity in pricing when selling oil and petroleum products for export.
TATNEFT Company and the State Concern of Turkmenistan "Turkmennebit" signed a supplementary agreement to continue work at the Goturdepe field.
At the end of 2020, TATNEFT ranked No. sixth in the Eurasian rating of the environmental transparency of oil and gas companies, compiled by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Creon Group.
